HOW TO PLAY

  1. 1Face each other. Together, say ‘Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!’ and show one hand sign on ‘shoot’: a closed fist is rock, a flat hand is paper, and two fingers are scissors.
  2. 2Rock beats scissors. Scissors beats paper. Paper beats rock. If both players show the same sign, nobody scores and you immediately throw again.
  3. 3The winner of each throw scores one point. Say the score aloud, then start the next throw. The first player to five points wins the match.

Rapid-fire fiveBegin with both players at zero points and keep both hands visible between throws. After every decisive reveal, the winner says the new score aloud; after a tie, nobody scores and the next throw begins immediately. The first player to five points wins the round, then the loser chooses whether both players use their non-dominant hands for the rematch.
