  1. 1Sit or stand facing each other where you can clearly see each other’s eyes. Decide that blinking, looking away, or laughing loses the round.
  2. 2Count ‘One, two, three, stare!’ On ‘stare,’ make eye contact. Do not touch each other or block the other player’s view.
  3. 3The first person to blink, look away, or laugh loses the round. The other player scores one point.
  4. 4Look away, blink normally, and reset. The first player to three points wins the match.

Best-of-five resetBefore the match, confirm that blinking, looking away, or laughing loses the round. Begin every round on the shared count of three, award one point as soon as either player breaks, and then both players look away and blink before restarting. The first player to three points wins the match; a simultaneous break resets that round with no point.
